Emberlink is a local-first identity and trust protocol. Your data stays on your device.
what we collect
Nothing.
- Your identity keys are generated and stored locally on your device
- Your credentials never leave your device unless you explicitly share them
- The Emberlink relay holds only encrypted envelopes that it cannot read or decrypt
- No analytics, cookies, tracking pixels, or server-side logging
- No account creation on our servers — your identity is your device's cryptographic keys
what the extension does
- Detects login forms to offer credential autofill (local matching only)
- Stores credentials in browser local storage, encrypted
- Communicates with the Emberlink relay only when you explicitly share or claim a grant
third-party services
None.
